Written Gratitude

Letters from Our Scholars

A collection of heartfelt letters from the students who have received WRG academic scholarships.

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the WRG Committee and especially to Dr. Kusum Ketkar for selecting me as one of the recipients of the WRG academic scholarship. It is with immense appreciation that I acknowledge your support in helping me pay for the balance of my spring 2024 tuition.

Receiving this scholarship is not only a tremendous honor but also a significant relief that eases the financial burden associated with pursuing my nursing education. Your generosity and recognition of my academic efforts, as well as my extracurricular activities, mean more to me than words can express. This scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also serves as a reminder of the faith and confidence you have placed in me to succeed in my academic endeavors.

I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to Professor Sneh Amar and Ms. Lisa Cieckiewicz for their dedicated efforts in bringing this scholarship opportunity to nursing students. Their commitment to support students like me is truly commendable and has made a meaningful difference in our educational journey.
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, support, and belief in my abilities. I am deeply honored to be a recipient of the WRG academic scholarship and will continue to work hard to make the most of this opportunity.

My name is Farzana Khan, and I am truly honored and grateful to achieve the Women’s Rehabilitation Group of NJ Scholarship at Middlesex College for the Fall 2024 semester. I am currently majoring in Allied Health Pre Professional. My most preferable fields of studying are Biology and Chemistry. Besides my part time college education, I am a homemaker and a mother of four children. In 2002, when I was in my first year of college in Bangladesh, I got married and came to the USA and had four children eventually. Despite having so many responsibilities for my family and ups and downs, my passion for learning never went away. I always wanted to earn college degrees and share my knowledge for the betterment of society. Upon completing my Associate degree in Middlesex College, I wish to enroll in any four-year college in NJ and pursue a career in the healthcare field. The Women’s Rehabilitation Group of NJ Scholarship is a true contribution and inspiration to the path of my academic goal. In a family of four children, and ongoing inflation, paying my college tuition is somehow overwhelming. This scholarship is a genuine help and encouragement for me. I truly appreciate and thank the donor of the scholarship and Middlesex College for the support. This scholarship extremely motivates me to continue in the path of learning.

As a recipient of the Scholarship, I wanted to thank you for helping make my college education a reality. Your generous donation helped me to accomplish my goals of obtaining a degree. My dream has become a reality. These funds have given me the ability to focus on my coursework for this school year with less concern for finances. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in India and always wanted to become a doctor, but my finance background was not good. Once again, I want to thank you for your scholarship donation. I understand that without people who are generous and caring, like you, a college education would not be possible for students like me. Knowing that someone else cares about my education motivates me to strive extra hard for excellence. I have been truly touched by your generosity and hope to one day give back just as you have. Again, I would like to thank you. Thank you WRG association and a big thank you to Mrs. Poonam madam. Without you it can’t be possible!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you for sponsoring my **BFA and MFA in Painting** from the prestigious (college of art Delhi). Your support was not just financial help—it was a belief in my potential at a time when it truly mattered. Because of your encouragement and guidance, I was able to pursue higher education in fine arts with confidence and dedication.

Today, I am working professionally as an **artist and illustrator**, and I also have the privilege of serving as an **Art Educator at Lotus Valley International School**. Every step I take in my artistic and teaching journey carries your influence and blessings. Your faith in me has played a crucial role in shaping my career and helping me stand where I am today.

I will always remain grateful for your generosity, kindness, and mentorship. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration and for empowering me to build a meaningful future in the field of art.

With sincere respect and gratitude,
